Why Choose New Leaf Hearing Clinic

What Separates Us From The Rest

At New Leaf Hearing Clinic we are committed to providing our patients with excellent service and warranties because we understand that hearing aids are an important investment that need protecting. EVERY hearing aid we sell comes with the following:

Manufacturer’s Warranty for Repair at No Charge*

If your hearing aid breaks down, the manufacturer will fix it for free, as often as needed, for a minimum of two years—this does NOT include if the hearing aid is accidentally crushed. That would fall under “damage beyond repair.”

Manufacturer’s Warranty for Loss & Damage*

The manufacturer will replace each hearing aid with a new instrument one time during the warranty if the aid is lost or damaged beyond repair. You only pay the deductible.

In-Office Service Package*

All office services including hearing tests, hearing aid adjustments/maintenance, and wax removal are done at no charge for the minimum one-year warranty period.

60-Day Trial Period

We’ll work hard to make sure you’re happy, but if you’re not, we’ll refund your comprehensive treatment package.

Will insurance or Medicare help pay for my hearing aids?

Medicare Part B does not cover hearing aids or related services, including hearing tests for fitting hearing aids. Some private insurance carriers and Medicare Advantage plans offer partial coverage or discount programs. But these programs often come with restrictions that limit the quality of care we can provide, so we’ve chosen not to participate. Our top priority is delivering outstanding patient care following best practices, and we won’t let insurance companies compromise that standard. Please visit our Paying for Your Visit page for more information.

Medicare requires a doctor’s referral to cover a diagnostic hearing test. Medicare only covers medically necessary tests, meaning your doctor must document specific symptoms or medical reasons for the test.

Audiologists diagnose hearing loss through a comprehensive hearing exam that includes multiple tests to measure your hearing ability. After the evaluation, your audiologist will explain your results, identify the type and degree of any hearing loss, and recommend appropriate treatment options such as hearing aids, medical care, or other specialized services.

Choosing the best hearing aid depends on your individual hearing loss, lifestyle, and preferences. With many styles available, an audiologist will match you with the best device for your activities, comfort level, desired appearance, and hearing requirements.

Hearing loss usually happens slowly, making it easy to miss. Common signs include:

  • Asking people to repeat themselves often
  • Struggling to follow conversations in noisy places
  • Turning up the TV or radio louder than others prefer
  • Feeling like people are mumbling
  • Having trouble hearing higher-pitched voices, like women or children
  • Hearing ringing or buzzing sounds in your ears
  • Feeling exhausted after social events because listening takes so much effort

If any of this sounds familiar, seek professional help early. Early testing and treatment can prevent hearing loss from worsening while improving your quality of life.
