I am very impressed with the level of care demonstrated by Dr. Jensen and the staff at New Leaf. There was no rush and every question was addressed regarding my hearing evaluation and what options I had available including doing nothing. To everyone who has hearing loss feeling comfortable that you’re not being ripped off to address something as important as you’re ability to communicate to those around you is as about important as anything and those who do not suffer from this cannot fully understand how it affects one’s life. I am still not sure what my next step will be but would recommend New Leaf to anyone concerned about whether they are suffering from hearing loss. Audiologists are more expensive than going to just a hearing center that has trained technicians but in my opinion it is certainly worth the consultation even if you have to pay for it out of pocket.

I have been going to this office for several years now. Dr. Dusty is extremely knowledgeable about tweaking and adjusting hearing aids. I have been wearing hearing aids for 10 years or so, and Dr Dusty is the absolute best audiologist I have ever met. I am a musician and VERY particular about my sound. She has totally met my extremely high expectations! Dr Dusty is fantastic! 5 stars is definitely not enough for her! I highly recommend her!!!!!

Great solution, great professionals! I has struggled with hearing aids from another provider. Then, I found Columbine Hearing Care and and they completely transformed my experience. I was very impressed with every step of the evaluation process, hearing tests, and the strong hearing aid options availablethrough Columbine Hearing Care. Their warm personalized approach was comforting after the frustrating experience I had with my previous provider. Sometimes a vivid contrast is gives you the most appreciation for true professionals. Dr. Dusty has fitted me with a better brand/solution of hearing aids and I am now very happy. Before working with the team at Columbine Hearing Care, I wasn't confident that I'd be happy with any hearing aids. I am pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased. Thank you!

Dusty did an absolutely amazing and thorough job. I've had the VA test me several times and they gave me hearing aid but they never worked as they should have. After my diagnosis, she explained why and is helping get what I need. I believe what she has begun will end in an exemplary result.

Dr. Dusty at Columbine Hearing Care is a first-class audiologist. She is an extraordinarily competent professional while also being personable and kind. Initially, I was skeptical about hearing aids, but Dr. Dusty made me a believer. My new hearing aids have made my life qualitatively better: I hear things I missed before; I don't have to lean into people as they speak (which is sort of creepy) or ask them to repeat what they just said (which is pretty annoying); I've turned the volume on the TV way down; etc. And Dr. Dusty doesn't just sell hearing aids; she also provides exceptional and continuous service, making all the necessary adjustments to ensure that your new devices are working properly. If you're like me, spending a tidy sum on hearing aids probably doesn't rank high on your bucket list. But for me, it was money well spent.

Truly a one of a kind and first class operation who have given me their personalized and thoughtful care with not only an emergency I experienced but also improving my hearing with new hearing aids. The Audiologists are GREAT, especially Dr Dusty!!! I've been a patient at Columbine Hearing Care for a little over a year. Dr Dusty is professional, personable and knowledgeable. I had a hearing test at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and was told I had mild hearing loss. I was hesitant and did not want to wear hearing aids and Dusty had the gift of putting me at ease. I came here thinking I had a hearing problem but actually thought they would tell me I was fine and to come back in 20 years when I REALLY need them. Turns out, I need hearing aids now to improve the clarity and to reduce the effects of tinnitus. Brenda explained all of the assessments and how hearing aids would benefit me. She is incredibly accommodating of my work schedule, and spends as much time as I need at appointments to help me feel comfortable with the hearing aids. I would recommend Columbine Hearing Care to anyone who thinks they may have a hearing deficit— it’s life changing!!

I contacted Columbine Hearing Care after a frustrating experience with another audiologist. Brenda did a complete exam and hearing tests. Throughout the process she explained what each test meant so I understood what my problems were. She gave me several options without trying to sell any of them. When the new devices arrived, she did the Real Ear Measurements adjusting the hearing aids specifically for my hearing issues. Which the previous audiologist did not do. Brenda has shown that she is truly concerned about my hearing health and wants to do everything she can to help me. I highly recommend Columbine Hearing Care.

Went to see Dr. Dusty today for my first visit. What a great experience! There was free parking, no waiting, and very professional care. I thought I needed wax removal, but she very honestly told me why I don't and gave me solutions for what I was experiencing. I feel like she was trustworthy and sincere and truly just a lovely person. I would highly recommend!

After trying hearing aids TWICE and failing I was given Brendas name. I was missing out on so much with my grandchildren...and was beginning to think this was the best my hearing was going to get. Thank goodness I was WRONG! I can hear the TV without running everyone out of the room with the volume at 100. I can have conversations with people and not say 'excuse me? what did you say?' And they don't hurt my ears! Don't give in....you can hear again! Call this wonderful company...it will work...they are the best.

I was confused and overwhelmed. My wife had issued an edict that I either explore hearing assistance of some sort or else. I didn’t know whether I should go to a big box wholesale club, try OTC aids, find something online, or go to an ENT. Then I realized that Dusty, with whom I volunteer for a nonprofit, is an audiologist, so I went to her. Best decision of my life. She and her co-star, Brenda, took incredibly good care of me, answering my many questions, and allowing me to test drive Unitron aids. Through the process, I realized that the old adage about getting what you pay for is absolutely true when it comes to hearing. There are many variables involved with the selection and usage of hearing aids, and to try to save a few bucks by going to a big box store or OTC is absolutely not worth it. This is an investment in me and my quality of life that pays big dividends. My hearing aids, or amps as I call them, are fantastic. It has not been difficult at all to get used to them and embrace them. I love that with Bluetooth technology for my amps I can make or receive phone calls, engage Siri, and even hear play calls from the Broncos huddle on TV. Just kidding about the last one. Most importantly, I hear things now so crisply and clearly where sounds before were just slightly muffled noises.

Dusty is Amazing! Columbine Hearing Care has the ability to test hearing even when people cannot sit in a booth. My mom is almost 93 years old, primarily wheelchair bound, but that didn't stop us from getting amazing test results and a new hearing aid along with new devices! After 2+ years of yelling and frustration, even though we checked in with another hearing center for care, both my mom and I are exceedingly happy!!!

In the first of January 2024 I called and spoke with Lisa about getting an appointment to have an evaluation. Lisa set up the date and time for me to be evaluated by Dr. "Dusty" and also emailed me a questionaire to fill out prior to my appointment. I arrived at my appointment and Dr. Jessen was ready to start my evaluation. Everything I had spoken with Lisa about, plus all the information on the questionaire, even my wife's first name, she knew. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I met Dr. Dusty by chance, and that was a truly lucky day for me. I had struggled, unsuccessfully with 2 pairs of hearing aids that just didn't work for me, so I was prepared to give up. My first appointment with Dr. Dusty proved to be life-changing for me. The time she took in testing and consulting was so appreciated, and I've ended up being able to hear like I haven't in many years. My thanks doesn't seem enough!

I recently moved my 95 year old father into my home and needed to get his hearing tested and discuss hearing aid options. Like most, I started my search online and liked what I saw with Columbine Hearing Care. I was able to schedule right away and got my father tested. When we arrived I could immediately tell I came to the right place. Dr Dusty was attentive and professional. She listened to my our needs and within an hour had performed a battery of hearing tests. It was clear my dad had lost virtually all his hearing; which I knew having had to yell every time we spoke. Dr Dusty fit him with a temporary set and everything changed. I about cried. I could see my dad was able to hear. I could tell he wasn’t yelling when he spoke. I could see him want to interact. I could tell it changed his life! Since coming home, I no longer have to have the TV blaring. I no longer have to speak next to his ear. He can now talk on the phone!!! I have had two pair of Costco hearing aids in the past 3-4 years and until I came to Columbine Hearing I didn't realize how bad my hearing was. After my 60 day appointment the difference in devices and the service received cannot be compared with Costco. I had no clue of the complexity adjusting a device to fit an individuals hearing in each ear. I came into for a complete hearing exam due to recent challenges hearing intimate conversations, or softer voices at a distance in a quiet room. I was really concerned at 52 that my hearing deteriorated from years of military service, power tools and loud music. I was anticipating having to purchase hearing aids to correct my issue. Brenda took great care of me and I felt at ease from the moment I arrived. She carefully explained the testing protocols and process of the very thorough exam. She took her time and was very patient with my questions. I felt important in her unhurried thorough responses. Afterwards, she spent time to carefully review the test results with me and explain them in detail and in simple terms I could understand. In the end, my hearing loss ended up being minor enough that she said she had a hard time recommending hearing aids. But she kindly offered to let me "test drive' a set to see if the difference was significant enough to warrant my desire to spend the $$$$. In other words, this practice is one which operates with a very high degree of integrity in an industry which sometimes has a bit of a predatory reputation. THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your care and honesty. I cannot recommend this practice enough. True, personal, caring experts who aren't out to make a quick buck. ** I found out also today that some ear buds (Airpod Pros) can be used to help amplify sounds and sort of act as hearing aids in situations such as mine. I'm going to give those a try for now.

I want to highly recommend Dr. Dusty Jessen and Columbine Hearing Care. IF I could give them 100+ stars, I would without hesitation. I went went to seek information and help in navigating my hearing loss that was progressing and interfering with my quality of life. Not knowing what to expect, I was apprehensive, but Dr. Dusty immediately put me at ease listening to my concerns, evaluating my hearing loss and--best of all--offering solutions. I am a full time RVer. One of our challenges while traveling is finding good healthcare providers. Today I was fortunate enough to find Dusty Jessen. I called on Thursday and she fit me in her schedule on Friday morning. That was my first positive thought. Secondly I recieved an email with accurate detailed directions. Friday I arrived a few minutes early an was greeted by this lady with a wonderful smile and cheery welcome. Turns out it's Dusty. I had a broken microphone on one of my aids. She was able to replace it under Warranty. Also she tested both of my aids and made adjustments that helped me tremendously. She was very thorough and professional in her questions and caring for my best interest. I would highly recommend Dusty if your a contemplating you first pair of aids or considering a new pair. I don't believe you will be disappointed in your choice.

Dr. Dusty Jessen has been my audiologist for many years. I have what clinically is considered poor hearing. When I take my aids out I can’t hear anything. She has changed my aids through the years to accommodate my hearing loss and issues. Her decisions for me have insured continued quality of life and comfort with the changing hearing aid market. Her office is warm and welcoming and uses state of the art methods and equipment. She has been WONDERFUL for me!

Outstanding service: Patient of Dr. Dusty for over 12 years. She is professional yet friendly. More than once she has come thru under tight time lines. Had meetings out of town, hearing aid quite working two days before leaving. She contacted hearing aid co. worked with them to try to fix the problem. No go. Had to send it in. She gave me a replacement, tuned it to my needs and it worked for the week. Mine was there after I returned. Excellent customer service. Over time, Dr Dusty has answered my questions about new products available. She researched the products and clearly explained whether they would work be an improvement or not. No pressure to buy, just clear unbiased facts. Fantastic. Brenda has been helpful especially with a problem with fit which turned out to be ear wax issue. Took care of that problem immediately. Excellent service! Dusty took molds of my ears for the purpose of ordering custom in-ear monitors (I'm a musician). She cleaned my ears before doing the molds. I'm blown away by how much better I can hear. Dusty was professional, friendly, and made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. A true thought leader in her field! I went 2 weeks with a clogged ear and I had no idea this process would be so easy. I had a fantastic experience at Columbine Hearing Care. I was in Colorado on vacation when my right hearing aid failed. My father -- who is a regular patient of CHC -- secured a courtesy appointment for me the same afternoon with Brenda. Without even being a patient of the practice, Brenda repaired my hearing aid, saved my vacation, and didn't charge me a penny for it. That is patient care and customer service on a level that is unheard of. Thank you, Brenda, and CHC, for being so awesome -- this is why my father is a patient at your practice and not somewhere else.

Oh my goodness, if you have a need for hearing aids you should run not walk, not hesitate, no delay in going to to Dr Dusty Jessen or Brenda Garcia at Columbine Hearing Care. I have know Dusty for over 10 years when she worked at an area ENT's office and I developed early hearing loss. Unfortunately I did not buy my first hearing aids thru her because my insurance was not accepted at the ENT's office. Now that I am needing a second set of hearing aids (yes, I waited way toooo long to get the 2nd pair) I have returned to the most patient, thorough, flexible, current, competent and generally affordable office given the service that you receive. My new pair of Aids have a much more custom fit, my hearing is more keen and all at a lower cost than I spent 10 years ago for a lesser product. Columbine Hearing can perform hearing tests, test the pressure in your ears, help set you up with phone apps to use your bluetooth with your hearing aid or turn it off. If current technology is not your desire they can supply you with the good old fashion battery operated aids. Dusty and Brenda have 'test' aids that you can try which is incredibly helpful given the variability of hearing environments and hearing loss. I just wish my family lived in town to share them with this wonderful office. My advice is to be kind to yourself because this is a journey and it isn't accomplished in a visit or even two or three. You need commited professionals to see you through this very vulnerable process, I recommend Dusty and Brenda without hesitation!

I definitely had a five-star experience at Columbine Hearing Care. Dr. Dusty Jessen is an expert audiologist and a caring, conscientious person. Her prices are comparatively low, and the service she provided was better than I had experienced with my previous provider. Furthermore, I had never received followups about how I was doing with my hearing aids after I purchased them. I highly recommend Columbine Hearing Care. It is state of the art hearing care.

If you find you are starting to have hearing issues or just want a baseline done of your hearing, I'd highly recommend Columbine Hearing Care. Dr. Jessen was friendly, engaging, answered all my questions and spent as much time as I needed. I also had my son go with me to get fitted for custom fit ear protection.
